What I thought made it nice was not only the shave it gave me and the nice lather it made but I also like how the skin felt after the after shave was applied. Also it's nice some times to find a whole set, soap, pre shave, after shave. I'm not much for pre-oil but this ones pretty nice, not to greasy

I've been using their aftershave since May of so, and I like it. I have been considering buying their preshave oil, though. How do you like it?

I'm not to big on preshave oil only because I cold water shave most of the time, but I did give it a go a couple times and really did like it. It's not to oily like some and it does do a great job softening the whiskers.

As an aside, I see you are from Dublin. Do John Madden and his wife still own their bar there?

Not sure about the bar but I do know he and his sons own Haps Steak House and a couple other restaurants around town.

Thanks....I think his wife owned the bar. Since he moved to Pleasanton, they may have sold it. I guess his son is a big developer there now. Thanks for getting back to me. I had a few cold ones with John and Phil Villapiano (#41) one afternoon there when John was still coaching. John is bigger than a house in person.

.....and now back to Imperial Barber Grade products.

Thanks for the tip on the Imperial Products. I just ordered their shave kit to try.
