Default Looking for a good soap.

As of right now all that is avaliable to me is Williams, which I do not like the lather or smell and the feel after, and Van Der Hagen, which I like the lather.

I really enjoy the more boutique style things. I believe small businesses put "more" into their product. By more I mean extra care and "love"

I am looking for a soap that has a good lather, and a light floral scent like rose or lily, or a light wood smell. like sandal wood.

Anybody got any ideas I would be so thankful. Thanks in advance.
Sometimes The Rat Pack on the T.V, a good Gin Martini, and a hot straight shave is all you need. And of course the beautiful woman enjoying it all with you.

There are any number of good soap varieties out there. Classicshaving.com carries a number including their house brand. There are also the Mama Bear soaps which are glycerin melt and pour soaps that are available in a large number of fragrances.
Others include em's place and Queen Charlotte. I am using the latter right now and am very satisfied with it BTW.
    Hope this helps.

    RazorBurn,
A number of quality soaps meet your requirements. For starters, try any of the following: Provence Sante Verlaine, Institute Karite, Klar Kabinett, Geo F. Trumper, D.R. Harris, Taylor of Old Bond Street, Scottish Fine Soaps, Portus Cale, Fume, Bath House Spanish Fig and Nutmeg, Edwin Jagger Aloe Vera and Sea Buckhorn, and Muhle.

I'll second D.R.Harris soaps. One of only a few English brands now that can deliver, and deliver these soaps will. Windsor and Marlborough will fit the request nicely although Lavender is also available. I never quite took to that one though, but YMMV.

While expensive I get great results from Martin de Candre. Great product made.

Ah yes, that would be the ultimate "boutique" style soap, and perfectly fits the OP's criteria
