Agree with Harrygr that Nomad smells similar to Old Spice.
I use the cream, not the soap.
As good a lather/lubrication as anything out there.

Load your brush and lather on you hand, face or bowl.
Your soap will last longer as well.
Thank you for the tip Euclid440 i'm using a muhle shaving mug now to make lather, but your right i forgot about making making lather on the face or hand.
i found the Nomad shaving soap being sold in the wooden bowl for $18 shipped online....is that a decent price?
not sure i can link the place its being sold...message me if you want it.
looks like one left.
I've got the cream and like others said it was a good lather but nothing to write home about. The closet smell I could compare it up would be "leather", with exotic spices as backup. I just got a sample of Spanish Leather and the two remind me of each other.
Homeless people and camels? Wow! They not only smell great, but they taste good too ;-)
I have C&E Sandalwood and Nomad. I like the scents, but the lather isn't all that. It dries too quickly, and it isn't very 'rich.' Good enough stuff I guess, but like Obie said, there's better stuff out there.
I' ve recently read that C&E is changing their marketing policy by increasing he price of their products. The soap with the wooden bowl will cost €33 in Athens, up from €22 that it was.
Jeez Harry, that is one heck of a price hike! I wonder if that's happening elsewhere too - anyone know?
i have the C&E in sienna and it doesn't lather at all. bubbly foam. all my other shaving creams and soaps lather flawlessly.
