Thanked: 1587I'm glad to hear it's OK now. I've always had sensitive skin and any fragranced face product (balm, moisturising cream, shave cream etc) always gave me grief with itchiness, redness, and irritation. Never had the peeling as you describe - it is good advice to go check it out with a doctor if possible.
I've found fragrance-free face products work well for me (some of the "sensitive skin" stuff hasn't worked). However, recently I've been using the Crabtree and Evelynn Sandalwood aromatic aftershave balm with no ill-effects. The initial outlay is steep, I know, but I've seriously only needed a drop about the size of a pea in my palm to cover the shaved area.
Anyway, I hope you find something that works for you.

I think they have something labeled as a facial moisturizer. I do use their soaps -- I don't have problem skin but they work for me. I'm starting to squirm when I use terms like "problem skin" ---a little to much in touch with my feminine side. Where's my Pine Tar soap? Where's my Bowie Knife? Damn it.

The key is to disguise your meaning with clinical and technical terms. Say you need a dermal hydration agent with minimal olfactory presence.

Thanked: 1587You guys! Come on now, there's nothing wrong with releasing the metrosexual inside us. We're all walking a pretty fine line on these forums anyway - hmmm, think I might change my username to "Himbo"...
