    Colleen,
Sorry, I've been out of town for the past two weeks teaching the Forest Biology portion of our 10-week summer practicum (an baptism in fire for our incoming professional students).
The product is actually Mancozeb, chemical formula: 】[[1,2-ethanediylbis[carbamodithioato]](2-)]manganese mixture with [[1,2-ethanediylbis[carbamodithioato]](2-)]zinc.
It is made by DuPont, the best general info I've found is at:
    http://extoxnet.orst.edu/pips/mancozeb.htm
I would guess that almost any generic fungicide would work for you, one that comes to mind and can be found at any home center (Lowes, Home Depot, WalMart) is Daconil. Remember to dilute according to label directions...that 7-oz bottle may very well dilute to 30-100 gallons of spray.
What type of cedar is it? Are they Eastern Red Cedars, Deodar Cedars, Leyland Cypress (often sold generically as cedars for landscaping purposes)? That's one of the problems with common names...could be almost anything. However, assuming the problem was correctly identified as a fungal issue (but given how dry its been I'd wonder about that), the fungicide should take care of it.
If you can post a picture or two I might be able to give you a better idea of what you're up against.
    Cheers,
    Ed

The AG man said they have something called Tip Blite, (no insects or mites present) but felt that if they were treated aggresively and sprayed every 7-10 days for the rest of the summer, they might make it. Also suggested a little fertilizer.....2 teaspoons per tree, we've been a little light on rain too, so he suggested watering at the base of the trees twice a week when we have no rain, and not to wet the foliage, and not to water in the evening.

    So whats the problem??

I cannot find the recommended medicine that he suggested.....Marcozeb.....and only small spray bottles of generic fungicide at $7.00 a pop, which is enough to spray 3 or 4 trees, well hell.....we have 30 of them, and we're supposed to spray them every 10 days for the rest of summer Jimminy shit!

Were does a person order something like in bulk? any suggestions?

I'm so glad you like it!! I know it must seem that I do what....??? with the website, but I think now people can see that I really have been working on it, albeit slow. I go to see Amir again today.....a few tweaks here and there on whats already up, and more pages to add regarding the shaving soaps and shaving creams page.

Most of the links at the bottom of the main page are finished, we just need to get them up. I still lack shaving tips, and shipping info....which are kinda important..

BUT I have been so busy with my new girl, Preema.....Gentlemen.....she is awesome! There just isn't any other way to say it. She is a hard worker and she is smart......with a capital S kinda smart. I am impressed, and so very pleased.

She was even answering emails yesterday in regards to orders....LOL. LOVE IT!!!!

OK....down to business. Ed, I will post some pictures over the weekend, for the trees. I did find a generic type of fungicide, in bulk......now its just a matter of whether we can save our trees. Oh...they are a white cedar, it seems like the name was "Thuga" ....and they were supposed to be disease resistent, and drought hardy.

One amongst you, should have your order any day....like today! with AS enclosed.

Everyone else....your AS went out yesterday, with the exception of Mr. Pointman....lol. I didn't really mean for it to work that way, but we had discussed something for your wife and I wanted to include in the box, so yours will leave here tomorrow.

Randy.....your AS was in the group that left yesterday, and your other item will leave here tomorrow. I have discovered that while its helpful to have an employee there are certain things that I just cannot concentrate on while she's here. So it will leave here tomorrow.

I have also discovered (after all this time) that I can ship packages thru the Tamarack 7 days a week, from 8 to 4 ....even on Sundays.....lol. I fully expect to take advantage of this little secret, to speed up my turnaround time on orders going out.

I'm not quite sure what to tell you about the AS's this time......as far as the bases go. Base #1 is virtually the same......but scented with different essential oils, it turned white.

Base #45 .....you'll have to shake before using.

and as far as the Essential oil blends and how they smell......I tweaked them "both" and I'm ohhhhhh so hopeful that you'll like them. I personally think they are improved, and more balanced, both Mom and Ms. Nepal really liked them too. They still have the basic components of the prior....its just a matter of rearranging the ratios and adding a little eye of newt to create a finer "harmony".

Both AS's are scented at a 10% ratio...... so we'll see, aye.

Did you all know about SRP being mentioned in "Blade" magazine?

    XXWarm Regards, Colleen

    Hey There!

RichZ, you're my "MAN".....Always close by I feel kinda bad that you'll probably get your box last, but I think your wife will be pleased.

"Straight Razor Place" is the only forum listed in "Blade" magazine (knifemakers) as THE place to go for straight razor prep, restoration etc. I think this is pretty cool, don't you?

What this means is that custom knifemakers are taking notice of the resurgence of the straight razor, and I'd say within a matter of months you'll begin to see a few customs out there....and then within a year, a man should have his choice, now won't that be somethin!!!!
