Thanks guys. She is just a real ba#@ buster. Actually I think she has other problems but at my age I have little desire to be a wipping boy or for that matter a perpetual job hunter. I wish the work world had tenure. At almost 54 I hate the thought of trying to find something new especially as my son is starting high school in a few months and that expense will be draining. Oh well enough of my bs. Thanks for the support.

Even if my state voted for Hillary.....guffaw.... slaps knee ...lol.

I am not a political person in the least, but I will say we're a strange breed here, Obama screwed up with that statement ( not that it mattered to me, I know better ) about the bitterness of the working man and clinging to religion and guns. It seems to me that everyone in WV owns I gun, hell I own three. Everyone in this state is distrustful of government ( comes from the days of prohibition ) and when anyone even "hints' at a dislike of guns, WV automatically wipes them off the ballot. We're a backward lot

Well Gentlemen, I'm here.....barely, but I'm here. I've had a terrible week with Dweyne in and out of the hospital, with a small stoke, about 10% blockage in his heart and moderate emphysema......all piled up on top of his Bi-polar disorder and over use of pain medication. To tell ya true....it's been a F##%%% nightmare. Please note the use of the capital F....

I'm way behind on orders, ( we had 30 + last week and FORTY THREE this week ) but should be caught back up round about the middle of next week.

My brother is here visiting from Florida with his "mysterious rich Aussie girlfriend" .....whom I will meet for the first time this evening, over dinner at my Mom's house. Keith says he's going to marry her JIM-O-NEeeee shit! That boy has never proposed marriage to a woman in his life. But "she" on the other hand....has already had TWO husbands, Keith would make her third. I'm on guard..... I might have to take that girl for a walk down copperhead row out at Sandstone.....

    XXWarm Regards, Colleen

    Colleen,
If you're going to wack the rich Aussie girlfriend...at least wait until she's the rich Aussie wife

Hang in there and know that we're all pulling for you.
    Cheers,
    Ed

Boy I'll say....... I'm glad I decided to wait too, cuz now she wants to invest capital in my business

I'm just stopping by to say Hello, wishing all a Happy and Safe Memorial Day weekend. Hey Rich, you can come work for me, I'm a really good boss. TGQ offers a flexible work schedule, extended vacations, and pays in endless quantities of shaving soap, shaving cream aaannnddd bath soap.

Dweyne is back to work, light duty. Our orders are slowing back down to normal, shew! and all in the same breath. We are right in the middle of trying to refinance the house, the appraiser will be here in ONE week. I expect that after the appraiser comes, some sense of normalcy will return to this house. Currently there is a mad frenzy of painting, cleaning, weed eating and flower planting.....lol.

Guys, Thank you so much for your support and words of encouragement.

    XXWarm Regards, Colleen

As tempting as that sounds I don't think I could afford to..

Glad to hear things are turning around..

Actually if I had my life to do over I think I would want to teach history at a College...

    Good Morning Gentlemen,

Hmmmmm.....yes, it's been a while since I've been here, heavy sigh......I wish this was a good post, but I fear it isn't. Our Aftershave tests will have to be put on hold until further notice.

I wish I could say it was due to the "inquiries for 1,000/10,000 pcs of Desert Ironwood but it isnt'. All of you have come to know me pretty well I think, and you know I'm a hard worker, I have a passion for what I do, I'm OCD and a perfectionist by nature, so that's not the problem.

I'm afraid I've gotten myself into a terrible mess in my personal life...... I will just say this one thing, and I'm sure all will become painfully clear. My husband is a drug addict, he didn't start out that way, he wasn't like that when we got married......but ever so slowly.....the pain medication distributed to him as a patient at the pain clinic has turned into something far beyond any nightmare that I thought possible, this is directly related to his first ride in the ambulance and then his stay in the hospital for four days.

In order to protect myself financially, I will be seeking a divorce .....sooner rather than later......I go on Monday to speak to a lawyer. It's possible that I will have to have Dweyne committed in order to get him out of this house, because I have asked that he leave......numerous times, but he just won't go. I feel certain that the court would grant the committment due to the drug problem and his declining mental health and it would give me a safe way to get his things moved out of here and then file for a restraining order. But I suppose I'll be waiting to talk to the lawyer first, to see if he has a better idea.

If and when this happens......it will require a HUGE effort to move the soap business back over to this house, because I'll have to move 6 years worth of his stuff out of the basement first in order to have space to move the business back over here. I think it's safe to say that TGQ will close for a month.....maybe two.

I am very sorry for how this has affected what we have tried to accomplish here. Now......there's not alot for you to say here other than the usual "hang in there"......and I will......and I will see this thru somehow, with the Grace of God.

    But for now......no more Aftershave

    XXWarm Regards, Colleen
