Ed,
You are right about it staying mixed the best. I used it again today to make sure I was really giving it a real go. Well......... it is still my least favorite and I was wondering why, I mean the scents are the same, how different could it be. After a bit I think it was that it looked like I poured milk into my hand. In addition it kind of stayed on my face in a few spots till I wiped it off. The others seemed to soak in. Just my humble opinion...
However the seperating is an issue that should be addressed. Someone might forget to shake and get too much of the oil. Don't know could be a problem.

I've tried all three, and I can't say I have a favorite. They all seem fine to me. However, the scent wasn't my fave. Reminded me too much of English Leather. I miss the "red" scent from last round! It felt more like something new and original.

I'd vote no too if I had a problem with complete absorption. I hope others will chime in on this point as I may very well be biasing the sample. I have to be very careful about wearing too much scent (of any kind) as my wife is VERY sensitive to colognes and perfumes. Thus, my application of all AS's tends to be quite light, maybe 4 or 5 drops from our samples. At this rate of application the orange is absorbed within seconds. Even at this rate, I've been warned that I'm pushing it
. I realize I'm probably in the minority here, but would it be possible to bottle a 'lite' version of whatever AS we come up with? "All the soothing properties of our regular AS with half the scent". I see a copyright infringement on the horizon.
Cheers,
Ed
Oh yes, with regard to the emulsion...thumbs down from me, at least at the rates I've tested so far...very poor absorption, greasy. I may very well be using too much.

Ok here is a difference while my wife is also scent sensitive I guess I am not always so sensitive.
I splash on the aftershave and get my whole face covered. I can tell that some of the scents we are testing are not a problem for my wife while others have been. (I used those a lot less.)
But back to our testing I find the yellow leaves a coating on my face which I prefer, while the orange just sat there. Did anyone else notice this?
However as I noted before whichever is decided upon it is essential that it stays mixed. at least in my opinion.

Hey Everybody,
I'm just checking in.....I am here, reading comments etc. I hear a strong yes......for the one that is staying together.
As far as scent, I can say 100% percent that for as long as we've been doing this very few of these have been liked by most. We're always 50/50 one way or the other.
Lots of orders right now....gotta run

Good Morning Gentlemen,
Where is everyone?
I purchased a book this weekend entitled "Project Management" for DummiesI felt this was an important read for my lack of business skills, as this continues to be a weak point for me.
But in the reading I also see the need for some focused action here. Joe, you've been very good at this in your past posts ( say! where'd you get all those manager skills ? ) and I obviously need to practice my project management skills.
I found a number of listings/articles that "spoke" directly to me. So lets see if I can put some of this into action.
First question......
Does the Aftershave testing team for SRP still want to continue? or have you lost interest in this project ?
Question #2
If still interested......we need to set a target date, a goal of some sort to finish this project up.
I will step up and say the next month for me is going to be very busy with the changes to the website, the trip to Asheville, and my summer orders are coming in from the Tamarack.
I'll set a proposed date of June 17th....that's Father's Day right....
This is what I would like to focus on:
The Aftershave type best suited to go into the clear bottles from Italy, are either an emulsion ( which I agree needs more work ) or the mix that currently stays together all by its lonesome.
My best recommendation for the Aftershave is we need choose one that we feel will be most favored by the general public in terms of "function"......does it soothe? does it close the pores ?, does it close up little weepers ?
Noam has designed the label.......and I "think" you have chosen a version you like. What I would like to see happen, is for Noam to put the label choices back up, and I would like to have a vote. Votes should be sent to Noam.
As far as scent is concerned....... thats a tough one. So for the moment let's focus on the choice of Label, or any redesigns that need to be done.
and two....which Aftershave do you think works best in terms of basic function?
