    Default Castle Forbes

Well I finally went ahead and ordered some Castle Forbes (lime). I have been telling myself for a while that i was going to get some. Also I have never had a good lime scented cream.

Interested to know what you think. The lime scents have intrigued me, never have tried.

CF Lime is one of my favourites, a top shelf performer for sure. You won't be disappointed

I have the CF Lime, but I'm more impressed with the Cyril R. Salter Lime shaving cream. I put the difference at the CF being much more like a "softer" shaving soap, rather than a "mildly thicker" shaving cream. Like the others in its product line, the Salter cream "explodes" into lather. As always, this is just my opinion, and YMMV.

    Smooth shaving!
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

I own and use the Lavender by CF. The lime is also great but not as good on the skin as the lavender IMHO.

Gobs and gobs of lather, enough to shave a large dog, with only a tiny amount of cream. My 50g puck lasted near enough 10 months and I have just bought the 200g tub.

I am curious about how much cream you guys use. I find the CF Limes to be of medium softness and just swipe the tips of the brush twice, then start face lathering. Any thoughts?

I have only used it once since I got it but i do believe I used to much lol, TONS of lather from it. It didn't look like there was any on the brush but when I add some water it appeared that there was a good amount of cream on there. yes a little does go a LONG way. The scent isn't as "sweet" as I expected it to be but still pleasing, will try the lavender next time I order some CF

A good swipe across the top with your brush should be OK, but you can go a bit more than that to ensure you have enough for subsequent passes.

I agree, too many swipes will result in gobs of lather!
