Default Soaps with a Maritime Smell

Just want some suggestions of soaps or creams that make you feel like hitting the high seas or in general remind you of the ocean --- minus any rotting fish or decaying trash.
    Thanks,

    Justin

To bring up the obvious choice, Oceania scent by Honeybee. Smells like the beach motel vanity soaps from trips to the grandparents in Florida in the 1970s.

Anything with cocoanut oil in it reminds me of the beach... How about Robinson's Crew Soap?

Well, if you're looking for "oceanic" scents, then I think T&H Freshman and Floris JF are in that category.

I'm puzzled too. He *did* mention Gordon Lightfoot in the same post, so perhaps he meant to say "rounding Cape Horn as I write". I dunno.

yeah, but this is from the coconut oil on the bikini babes...

    My answer to the question:
For marine scents - T&H is supposed to be oceanic (I don't like T&H in general and this scent in particular, much prefer coconut - but you might)

Wasn't Davidoff Cool Water a clean marine? I used to wear it before I realized it's not the scent for my look and I'm too young for it anyway and it's overexposed.

Yep, just checked basenotes and one reviewer said it has a marine thing to it so I was right. On the positive side, most women dig it. (and I say women because of the age thing, again) and you can sample it at the mall

    Hope this helps

    Cheers
    Ivo
