Thanks, EL. Most helpful reply. I've sent a PM to that seller on the B&B forums and awaiting a response. I won't buy until I am satisfied the menthol isn't going to melt my face away .

Thanked: 9Compared to Proraso - this has no menthol... OK, I'm exaggerating but you get the idea. Fairly mild. It's not "cut grass" scent someone raved about - or at least not the cut grass I expected. It also feels a bit weird because of the lanolin - stays a kind of greasy on razor...
I expected to like it more. Still much better than Proraso, imo. Lately, I hate to use proraso even only on my hone

Thanks, Ivo. I understand what you're getting at. The picture I've got in my head is that it's a little like Trumper's Limes Skin Food, due to the lanolin.
I wouldn't touch Proraso because of the menthol. I'm sure it's a good product (well, it's lasted this long), but it just isn't for me with the menthol. I avoid the (English) Palmolive in a similar way, but because it dries out too quickly more than anything else.
Is it (Musgo) good to use with a straight? Many people on the B&B forums use it with their DE's and as such it goes down well for them.
Thanks again!

Thanked: 9Rum,
I have only used it 1 or 2 times. Is it good? Yes, but I prefer soaps (in general). I'd take Tabac, Trumper's, or Honeybee soap over the Musgo.
Right now, its primary use is for honing straights (as Proraso is bugging me more and more). I could send you a sample but I see you just ordered some over @ B&B - or have you? If you haven't - for me it's not a problem to send you some. Just tell me
Cheers

Hey Ivo,
No, it looks like Scott is not doing the cream anymore, although he is doing the colognes and aftershave. I'll PM you. Thanks for your kind offer.

Ivo... is the aimed at yourself or the site? If it's at the site, remember I upped the number to 200 in the
http://straightrazorpalace.com/showp...34&postcount=3 thread. So you have room for 102 before you hit the wall again.
