Thanked: 9Trumper's Limes cream: not bad at all
Got this in a sample pack and am trying to empty some little jars so I tested it with the B&B Finest in Ebony yesterday and a (rare) 5/8 Genco Tiger
Well, I didn't like the scent in the sample container (this is why it was the first to go). The brush did a terrific job - gave me more lather than knew what to do with, nice consistency and, surprisingly, nice scent. I just shaved a little to test the effect of Escher honing on the Genco (quite nice, at this state, but I would work it more to see it it can be improved further) - but really enjoyed it. If somebody gave me a tub of GFT Limes I guess I won't throw it away. Coupled it with Limes Skin Food - still don't like its scent, though
Cheers

Couldn't agree with you more. Great scent and gives a great shave. The Limes skin food goes well with it, although the shaving cream has a better smell.

Thanked: 0Try the rose
When I first got into shaving, I started off with Trumpers' lime. I liked the smell, but found that the rose was better for sensitive skin. I've been using the rose for over 10 years and love it. I won't use anything else.
Try putting a few drops of the lime skin food into your mug along with the cream. This will help lub your face a bit more.
