    Default SRD house brand soap

I love this stuff. I don't know what it is about it, but I prefer it over MWF, and pretty much every other soap I have ever used. It lathers up great, and despite regular use, cannot make a dent in the container. It seems to last forever.

I have the unscented variety. Anyone try any of the others? The Opus X intrigues me, as does the lime. I can't say I understand the idea of tobacco in shaving soap, but perhaps someone else can fill me in.

If you haven't tried it, give it a shot.

Their Bulgarian Rose Otto is a classic in the shaving world.
    Superb stuff in my opinion.

Opus x is one of my favorite soaps of all time- in fact mine is out and ready for a reorder!

After speaking to a bunch of folks I have heard SRDs sandal wood is on a level all it's own,

A buddy of mine described it as 'intoxicating' needs less to say I think that will be ordered along with the opus x in the very near future.

I have thte Vetiver and the Vanilla Bourbon. Both scents are great and they lather easily. Send for samples to try out the different scents. You will not be disppointed.

I have the opus X, and though it says "tobacco", whatever species of tobacco they use is not familiar to my olfactory glands as tobacco in smoking form. It is much sweeter, and one of the most complex scents of any soap I have. Highly recommend it.

That's the only one I have, and it's up there on my list. Used it last night coincidentally and had a great shave, as usual

I have the Lime -- smells like a fresh lime on the cutting board. When you open the can it slaps you in the face and retains the scent throughout the shave.
I'm not sure how long it lasts on the face, because I follow with a splash of Clubman Lime. (I end up smelling like a fresh Margarita )
