    Default Oh My Lord!

I know that I have read about it here on the forums, but I just got done shaving with the Proraso pre-shave cream, and boy was it an intense feeling - reading so many people talk about its intensity, I thought I would be prepared, but no way! I am fond of the Proraso green shaving cream, and that has a little kick to it b/c of the menthol. I thought it would be a similar feeling - boy was I wrong - the shaving cream is no where near as close to the cooling effect of the preshave cream. Don't get me wrong, I thought the intense cooling of the preshave cream was really nice, but I could see how not everyone would like it. I thought it helped out a lot with my shave, and I will definitely continue to use it on a regular basis.

    Default Proraso

I agree! the Proraso is the best! I've tried many different soaps and have stuck with the Proraso green with the preshave cream before the lather....Man-o-man what a great shave! I also use distilled water in a skuttle I made to keep it all HOT!

You know.... that pre-shave cream can be used as a post shave balm too. If you liike that menthol "oomph", try it post-shave next time.

    Default With a Hot Towel

Yeah, I really liked the proraso pre-cream, and use it before every shave. What I really like to do is rub it on and then put a hot towel over it and just kick back for a bit. The dual sensation of the menthol cooling and the hot towel are great and very relaxing. That is one step I refuse to skip no matter how pressed for time I am.
