Good quality ingredients with the exception, in my opinion, of sodium metasilicate, tetrasodium edta, hydroxyethylcellulose, alpha-isomethyl lonone, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate. Score: 8

Smell: Sandal wood, balanced and not aggressive, Score: 9

Lather: I used two centimeters of cream, corresponding to about 4/5 inches. It easily makes an abundant, rich and creamy lather, very stable with tiny bubbles. It needs a moderate quantity of water. Very good water retention. The quantity of lather has been abundant for my usual three passes, Score: 10

Shaving: Very good sensation on the skin. The lather is creamy and fatty, the razor slides easily and comfortably. No signs of irritation as well as no signs of dried lather. The sandal aroma can be perceived during the whole shave, giving a pleasing sensation. Very comfortable shave, Score: 10

Conclusion: A very good shaving cream with a pleasing sandal smell, not very aggressive and balanced, it contributes to the pleasingness of the cream. It has a good moisturizing effect leaving the skin soft and smooth as well as with no sign of irritation. The sandal smell has a good persistence and it can be perceived even after the end of the shave, Score: 9

It is in my drawer along with other Proraso creams but not part of my regular rotation even though it is one of the best creams available.
Revisiting TOBS this month.

It's one of my favorites. I usually follow it with Aramis aftershave.
