Default Proraso Blue Cream -- first impression and question

First, let me say that if I here Proraso is going out of business or being bought by somebody who wants to change the product, I will drop $200 immediately to stock up on their products.

Having been spoiled with the Proraso green, I wasn't sure how much I'd like the blue. BUT, I love it. I can't quite put my finger on the scent yet. How would you describe it, fellow Proraso blue users?

The lather is supple, moisture holding, and copious. I added two drops of glycerin, though I didn't need to really. A little goes a long way. I made the mistake of putting the tube in the hot water while I showered. When I opened it up, out came more than I anticipated. Whoops. I won't do that with creams in tubes any more. Anyhow, after I splashed my face and rubbed in my traditional shave oil, I proceeded to lather my face. Silky smooth. I then subbed the lather into my beard thoroughly. There was absolutely no dissapation of the lather. In fact, I didn't need to re-lather to make my first pass.

Even though it doesn't have the menthol/eucalyptus effect on my face that the green soap has, I really like this cream and will buy it again. The scent is really unique. I love it, but I can't yet put my finger on what it is that I am smelling.

I think I'll have to try the Red soap as well now.
