I just picked up a 75g tube of Fauldings Shave Cream. It cost $2.39

I must say I was very impressed with it. It smells like talc to me, pleasant and not strong at all. I face lather and after adding an almond size dollop onto my wet Whipped Dog (Firehouse Pottery) silvertip I began to lather. I was impressed at how quickly (with cold water) this cream lathered up into a thick luxurious lather.

It gave good cushion and glide as I shaved with my Dovo 6/8 Bismarch. It left my skin feeling smooth and moisturised.

Next time I use this I will add a little more to the brush as I could have done with a little more for my third pass, but more to do with user error, and at $2.39 a little more product won't break the bank.

I finished the shave with Pinaud Clubman West Indian Bay Rum splashed straight onto the face. Now feeling refreshed, smooth and moisturised.

A pretty good product IMHO..

I have a tube that was sent from a friend, although hard to find for many of us above the Equator I like the stuff too, good solid choice
