    I rinse under the tap while shaving. If I'm shaving off a beard, which I do periodically, I'll wipe on a cloth or paper towel so the whiskers won't clog the sink.

    After shaving I rinse again and wipe down the blade carefully with toilet paper and then strop 10 linen 20 leather. Blade sits open overnight before getting oiled and stored.
