FYI-Interesting Cremo news
Got this from a email subscript:
Menthol March
You, our faithful customers, have spoken and we have heard you! Menthol scented Cremo is currently being tested in a secure, non-disclosed location. Results are anticipated shortly at which time we might a) announce a national rollout; b) test Bay Rum instead; or c) declare the formula perfect, our gift to shavers everywhere.

Thanked: 375I liked Cremo crème, but the down side for me was it's brushless - now if they make one that you can whip a lather up with, that I would want to know...Bay Rum would be a nice addition to the original also.

Thanked: 375@ Siguy It was a no go - I borrowed my wife's Creamo Crème and this stuff does not lather, just like I remembered from years ago with the men's version (citrusy scent). Are you getting it to lather on it's own or does the addition of glycerin get it to? Or are you just Uberlathering with other soaps and creams?
I will say this - it does make for a great pre-shaveCHRIS

Aloha!
Yes, I know this is an old thread, but I've always wanted to try Cremo Menthol, as I have had a love-hate relationship with Cremo for a long time. I love it for an inexpensive, easy to get anywhere shave cream that performs well for my skin, but I personally never have been able to really get it to "lather" and that's not really what it's designed for. Most of the time when applying Cremo, I don't even use a brush, so it's great for traveling and especially camping. I personally wouldn't bother to add glycerin as when I'm home or in a hotel, I'd just assume use Proraso Green cream or one of my many soaps. But for a nice quick shave at a campground or if you are in a super-hurry in the morning, it's great.
I have used the regular all these years (when I actually DO use Cremo that is), but today, I FINALLY tried their MENTHOL. Took me a while to find it. Tried Wally World, Walgreens, Drugmart and a few supermarkets. Only CVS has the Menthol. The rest had the regular and Drugmart had Sandalwood. Amazon has it but ONLY as an "Add-On" to an existing order of $25.00 or more.
The Menthol is Nice. It's going to be my favorite camping or "I'm in a BIG hurry this morning" cream. Hands-down.
