I got this for Christmas a few years back. It belonged to a barber and hung in his shop for many years.

The tattered remains of this one lingered until the early 80's near my hometown in central Iowa:
Does your husband
rant and rave?
Grunt and grumble,
misbehave?
Shoot the Brute
some Burma shave!
Not particularly inspired, but I'm sure they didn't squander the whole Madison Avenue budget on Boone, Iowa.!! Enjoy the exquisite taste sharpening sharpening taste exquisite smooth. Please taste the taste enough to ride cutlery.
