Thread: MdC in Paris

My father-in-law will be in Naples, Italy and Paris, France next month and as I've heard how wonderful MdC is and how difficult it is to get; I thought I would ask him to pick some up for me. My question is are there many varieties and if so do you have any recommendations?

Also any other Italian or french products that are difficult to obtain domestically?

Finally any idea about how much one container of MdC costs?

MdC is readily available at Old Town Shaving. Other quality French soaps, such as Le Père Lucien, are also available through vendors here. Many Italian soaps are actually difficult to obtain in Italy. Even Pannacrema is now available at Old Towne Shaving.

That looks like a great store. Wish I lived nearby. I know they said you can call and order anything you see but at least for me I can't really see there products that well. Obviously I recognize products I am already familiar with. If I am ever nearby I will check it out.
In regards to the MdC I've been looking at threads about it here and it sounds great but I don't think I can justify the price. I understand it lasts a long time but that is crazy IMO!
