Never tried it, but I'll put it on the "To Buy" list. Let us know, if you get it before I do.

I got several jars from Spain. Gave some away to friends. Everyone loved it. Very high quality and great fragrance too. It's now available at SRD

I used the Alvarez Gomez today. Very impressed with the lather, the glide and the scent. My favorites now are
    1) le pere Lucien
    2) Alvarez Gomez
    3) Martin De Candre

Definitely a top 5 cream, similar to Aqua De Parma but softer and easier to lather. Very good glide and wonderful scent.

Actually I just ordered another so I have a spare. Soaps and crèmes are discontinued from time to time and I do not want to be without this one

Alvarez Gomez is a fine shaving cream with a pleasing light citrus fragrance. The texture is unlike that of the English creams; rather, much closer to that of Acqua di Parma and Razo Rock. It lathers well, providing good cushion and glide. This is also a thirsty cream and needs water. I don't think it is an exceptional cream, but worth the try nevertheless.
