Thread: Coates: Now I know what the fuss is about!

Months ago I picked up a tube of the coates advertised on the banners ads here. Finally tried some this morning and the lathering was just SUPER impressive! And from a dime sized dollop too!

I totally agree! I need to order some more. I keep the Lavender and Sandalwood on hand but am going to add some Lime this time too. I have used all of them. The Coate's tubes are the perfect size for a travel soap, which is what they were originally marketed for.

I used the Lavender and Sandalwood this week.

I recently bought two tubes each of Sandalwood, Tea Tree and Lime from the banner ad here. Great stuff! Lathers fantastic, very rich and creamy which translates to great cushion. Scents are not over powering but do last for a little while. Only takes a very small amount to make enough lather for 3+ passes......... I keep using too much but am getting closer. I like it better than C. O. Bigelow or Cremo Cream which are both excellent creams.

If you like creams, haven't tried it yet and can still get some give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

Funny - I just got to mine the other day, too. Rose scent was first up.

Smell - 1
Lather - 10

I have the Lavender,

to be honest I cannot find the lavender scent in it,

overall the scent is unique but I would not say displeasing.

The lather, cushion, glide, moisturizing was top notch and in my hard water to boot.

It will be making a trip with me in the next week or two on that alone,

and I have feeling it will follow me to TX early next year as well.

Tried some lime the other day; mild scent, barely there - less odd than the rose. Same lather, practically perfect.
