    Default BAUM.BE Shave Cream

    Gentlemen,

I cam across BAUM.BE some months ago and already include it among my top shave creams. The product, made in Belgium, contains a good dose of shea butter, glycerine and other good things. I have an extremely sensitive skin and a heavy beard and BAUM.BE shave cream pampers my Hollywood face. The cream lathers well, has superb cushion and glide, and a pleasant floral and woodsy fragrance. It comes in a 6.76 oz. tub. Good stuff.

Good heaven, Pix, Hollywood is my domain. All you have to do is to look at my photograph. I mean, that is the epitome of the swashbuckler looks. Why do you think Hollywood always calls me when George Clooney is unavailable for a role? Of course, I am always busy lathering with BAUM.BE shave cream and a silvertip shave brush, so the roles go to that poor Clooney.

I'm glad to see this review. I've was considering trying this one out but talked myself out of it for all the obvious reasons - mostly that I have way too many soaps as it is. I've found the ones that contain some Shea butter really give a great shave and leave my skin feeling great afterwards. All it takes is one positive statement and my resolve crumbles.

    OCDshaver,
This is really a superb shave cream, especially for sensitive skin, as I noted earlier, and the fragrance sweetens the spirit. Good stuff.

Well I know enough to take your word on it. In the next couple weeks I'll need to place an order for some more aftershave. I guess I'll add this to the order. Thanks for the review.

After I shave, I like to use Witch Hazel to close the pores. Then I follow up with a skin moisturizer containing 12% Lactic Acid. I use a drug store equivalent of AmLactin. AmLactin is highly recommended by dermatologists and is useful all over the body.

I've been talking about this stuff for some time now. it's the best lathering stuff I've ever used and from a technical standpoint beats them all including (gasp) MDC. The scent is nothing special though. Just pleasant.

Another great cream is Alvarez Gomez. It's right up there with the best of them.
