    Default Your #1 Useless Non-Aerosol Shave Cream/soap

I am having a hard time finding the worst non-aerosol shaving soap or cream that hand- or brush lathers. I have tried a bunch but only a couple are what I'd call hopelessly unusable. Even Williams with a presoak and a few drops of glycerine is pretty darn good.

My useless list is short. The Burt's Bees stuff in a tube? I don't get it. That'd be my number one useless. Whole Foods had another brand that was much the same - I blanked the name.

    Your number one useless?

There are a couple soaps I have tried from etsy and other "handmade" soap makers that could not lather or would not stay lathered.

I had three categories to rank them. Smell, lather, lather stability or staying power. Nobody failed all categories but some of the all natural stuff did not stay creamy lather for long. The worst... Can't tell you the name, a local vendor at a farmers market. I am still using the puck as soap but useless as shaving cream.

Believe me that stuff doesn't lather. AND its gritty. 100 - 200 grit maybe. What it is in microns..I have no idea..maybe 120... It is extra-extra coarse I know for sure.

I tried a home made soap from a former member a few years ago and not matter what I tried I could not build a decent lather, pretty useless if you ask me.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Well, not completely useless if you are a multitasker - you can shave and hone your blade simultaneously.
