Cella is a similar Italian shaving soap.

Careful now, I'm going to toss out another opinion...

I do agree that Cella is a very good soap, and its scent is fairly similar to P160; but I don't think Cella is similar in shaving quality. P160 lubricates more, produces a creamier lather, and just plain (in my opinion) feels more luxurious.

In that case, I'd be willing to trade you your kilo of P160 for 2 kilos of Irish Spring.

I had to laugh, because today as I was shaving with my DR Harris cream, which is my favorite, I thought to myself that I have 12 or 15 soaps and creams, and earlier in my life I've shaved by rubbing a bar of soap on my face and then lathering with my fingers, and I did just fine. I also shaved for about 5 years out of a Christmas gift mug of Aramis shave soap and the brush that came with it. Why am I suddenly obsessed with shaving soaps? and the answer was this forum. :

Any update to this? Would like to hear how people are liking the Razorock P160. I was hoping it didn't smell too much like Cella cause I'm not crazy about it... but I take it that's not the case.

When you say Cella, do you mean in the red tub or the 1kg block?
And I confess that I did not give the Cella Tub a real trial, but I liked the Cella Block more.

And I love my small reserve of original P160 - and hope that the RazorRock version works out.

Last time I used P160 was Fathers Day, shaving with my Italian Barber Grandfathers H.M. Christensen

    Thanks.
Yeah the tub. At least at first sniff I wasn't crazy about it.
As cheap as it is as soon as the new p160 comes back in stock I'll try some out.
    Nice setup there!
