Love la toja cream (haven't tried the stick). I wish that stores over here in the US stocked la toja instead of proraso. Not that there's anything wrong with proraso, I just like la toja better - a little less greasy feeling, easy lather and interesting scent.

Just an update. After several shaves with the La toja stick I am really liking it. This is excellent soap. An performs very consistent. Worth the price for sure.

I tried La Toja about two years back when I had a few trips to Spain and wanted to try local shaving products.

La Toja performed quite well, but the most prominent memory for me is the saltiness of the lather. Never paid much attention to it before, but on the SRD website it does mention mineral salts (La Toja is a spa on the north-west coast of Spain) that go into this soap.

Gives the lather a distinctly different sensation.
