Fitjar Soaps Closing
This is sad. Fitjar is closing its operation. As is said on the website: " the situation is such that the new cosmetics legislation involves comprehensive bureaucratic requirements, so there is no longer an economic basis for continued operation". Thank you European bureaucrats. https://fitjarsoap.no/articles/27/im...o-my-customers. So time to buy up gents, these are good soaps.
Nothing is as it ever was.

Too bad. They certainly weren't undercharging.

Thanked: 3225This is really a pity as they made some very nice soaps. No, they weren't under charging but the quality was there. I'll make the two I have last.

They produced one of the best aftershave balsams and aftershave cream I have ever tried.
I can't find either of them in their e-shop for the last years.

I'm sorry to hear about them closing shop.
Jorunn has made some very fine products over the years, and I for one have enjoyed being able to use quality products from my own country.Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Thanked: 375DAM! I didn't know it was closing up shop until I went to their website to get a puck of SlatterRoy
I have Fjellheim and love it - had a sample of the SlatterRoy and thought I'd wait to get it, guess I waited to long!
I did read something about someone else taking over? So maybe we'll see Fitjar products again hopefully of the same quality...CHRIS
