Default razorock p160 and tallow based soaps

Razorocks new tallow based soaps are great imo the p160 is very slick with lots of cushion and the skincare is top notch my skin is so hydrated after a shave it almost feels like playdough.they have new soaps that all use the same tallow base including xxx, onex, the freedburg, tightbuns.the last two are based on house of creed scents aventus"freedburg" and green irish tweed"tight buns" these are great values for an artisan soap

I just purchased XXX and I am anxiously awaiting its arrival. It will be my first soap from Razorock and I look forward to the experience.

I was waiting to get some more time in on two razorock soaps and do a review, but since you started
One of the soaps I'm using is the Razorock Mudder Focker. I believe this is also one of their tallow based soaps. I'm trying to use it multiple times before reviewing, but so far there has been no indication of it being nothing but stellar.
I use (did use) MdC daily. I use several other soaps occasionally of varying success (La Pere Lucien, Queen Charlotte, Tcheon Fung, Proraso, MWF, etc).

I can honestly say at this point that the Razorock performs time and time again, with absolutely no complaints. I told my wife recently if they stopped making MdC I'd be fine, as long as I had the Razorock.
I also am using Razorock "Fresco", and while I don't believe it's a tallow soap, its performace is great.
If I were suggesting a soap to a new wet shaver, I'd hands down point them to Razorock (the Fresco is only $5.99!). The Mudder Focker in particulart is a treat, and look forward to using more of it. My MdC is drying out since I've been hooked on Mudder Focker. Do yourself a favor and grab some of this

I haven't tried the XXX yet, but the Fresco kinda smells like it's name (nice fresh scent), and the mudder focker has a pleasant scent as well, but I would describe it almost more on the cologne side, vs fresh or medicinal. Both are just fine and not offensive at all. Italianbarber.com has a ton of them, and all fairly reasonable prices. It's one of those things where the cost really isn't the issue, it's what to do with all that soap

i got the XXX and the p160.
    i like them both.
the p160 is like a super nice almond scent and the XXX is an interesting scent i can describe but its nice.
i also like the r160 aftershave balm which is a nice almond scent aftershave....seems tough to find nowadays...only a few bottles seem to be left available around the web.

I still have a small lump of the original p160 which by now is getting long in the tooth.
And my understanding is that we are not going to be seeing the RR p160 in stock until the Fall...
So I was hopping I could hear about the diff between the RR and the original.
And any other benchmark you might have? Cella? (tub and brick)
    Thanking you in advance...

the cella and p160new have a similar scent. i think the p160 smells more like the cherry marzipan scent...cella seems to have some natural ingredient undertones for me which isnt as nice as the almond scent. my prior favorite almond was panama boellis that lathered super nicely...mine is almost finished...i dont think i'd rebuy since i like the p160 scent better. now that my boellis is getting kinda old...that natural ingredient scent is more apparent and the coloring of my soap is turning darker. the cella i am referring to was the red tub (and i dont like the small size of that tub either).

As far as scent goes, try the RR Classic. Not tallow, but VERY similar in scent to the P160 and still a very good soap.
