So I ended up going a complete other route on this last order. I'm so indecisive it makes me I'll sometimes.

Ended up ordering the tobs lavender and a bottle of capt choice cat o nines.

Still want to get the mikes and mystery puck from amazon. But I'm Leary of the amazon puck ATM because of little reviews and the mikes is unavailable.

Will update once I order either of the previously discussed.

Even if you don't like the scent of the TOBS the performance will be great. I have most of their scents an they all perform fantastic. Eton , Jermyn , St james are my favs from TOBS, but they all perform higher than the price point IMO.

I've heard nothing but good things about it. I have been on a weird lavender kick. Not sure where its coming from. But hopefully the tobs fixes it.

I really wanna try their Mr. Taylor's scent as well.

Lavender is a very calming scent. Maybe be telling :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Yea I use this wet shaving hobby/obsession as a relaxing way to blow off steam. Really has gotten me through a tough patch last few months. But things are finally on an upswing. Have a few years of hurdles but nothing like what I was facing.

But your right maybe my nose is telling me its time to relax?

I have the Mr taylor also. It reminds me of the barber shop smell from when I was a kid. Cant explain the exact scent very well, but is along the lines of say dads scent.??? Still an excellent performer. I originally bought a sampler of all the scents. Not one of them did I not like at least occasionally.

I think the only scent in the tobs repertoire that doesn't interest me is the almond. Not because I don't like the rich amaretto scent associated with almonds but because every review of it has it pegged as more of a cherry ChapStick smell.

HAHAHA I never associated that cream with that scent until you said that. It definitely has that fruity side to it, but the almond scent comes through too. Get the sampler jars from maggards. 1/4 oz portions. You will get 5 shaves or so from each. An you can get all of them an not break the bank. That's how I found my favorite scents from tobs.
