Taylor of Old Bond Street Natural Cream
Gentlemen,
I am always on the lookout for shave creams and soaps that are ideal for sensitive skin. Because of an ultra sensitive skin that is paired with an ultra heavy beard — Lynn calls my beard tree trunks — I often feel like a private detective in a novel looking for answers.
My current lineup in the shave den of soaps and creams for sensitive skin includes: Martin de Candre, Le Pere Lucien, Castle Forbes, Xpec, Santa Maria Novella, Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort, Estbjerg for sensitive skin and BAUM.BE. All are superb creams and soaps in every way, including skin treatment.
I have tried many other soaps and creams for sensitive skin and am unimpressed, including Institute Krite shave cream, although I do like the soap version. I know there are a lot more out there and that I will find them.
Recently I added Taylor of Old Bond Street's "Natural" shave cream to the lineup — there is a different packaging of this cream, but I think it's all the same stuff. This cream has all the requirements for sensitive skin, including aloe vera. It is unscented. The cream lathers well with plenty of moisture, providing comfortable cushion and slick glide. No, it is not Castle Forbes, but then neither is any other cream. What's more, it is relatively inexpensive.
So far I am pleased with it. You might be, too. If you have ultra sensitive skin, you might want to try this cream.

For those unfamiliar w/ the honorable Obie's work in suds - the short version is that he talks to God on the subject. My fav remains one of his earlier recommendations - Provence Sante. When Obie talks on this subject, I listen.

Catie's Bubbles Le Nude is the best that I've tried.
