To echo Ed, too much and you'll peel like a lizard shedding it's skin. I've had no trouble from 5 drops.

Makes a mundane lather into a magnificent mound of gliding comfort. Two to five drops, depending on soaps/creams used, to make a good uberlather.

Thanked: 1587I tried slicking up my lather a number of years ago now. Worked OK but I got a lot of ribbing over it. http://straightrazorpalace.com/soaps...lubricity.html

I like using liquid glycerin so much I tried a new approach. I coat a brush with a Van Der Hagen glycerin puck and then add Proraso
shave soap. The combination gives me about the slickest uber lather I have come up with.

Man, who ever said this stuff was cheap? Rite Aid wanted like $8 a bottle. Anyone know of another place to get it for cheaper? I'd imagine the 6 oz. bottle will last a long time at 5 drops per shave.. But still. I'd rather save money for razors.
