Thread: "Slippery Vixen's" Stone Fox - Beau Brummel Shaving Cream

I gave it a whirl last night, and I love the scent as does the wife. It lathered up really well with just a bit of water and lasted through all 3 passes and a touch-up pass around my chin/jaw line. I did use a bowl for building the lather, but I am sure it will face lather wonderfully as well.

If the others are the same and smell as good I think I will be ordering the larger sizes to keep on hand. I will definitely be using this often.

I like them all so far, but the Beau Brummel is my wife's favourite as well as it is mine. The Spicy Citrus is a close second.

Yes - absolutely fantastic shaving cream!

Walleyman was kind enough to send me a jar of it with the brush he made to spec for me!

Very nice, almost an earthy mild sandalwood to my rather odd functioning nose....was very pleased with it, great lather, very easy to use.

I should have mentioned that they also send samples of their other products. The first order had bath soap samples of their "Black Tie" and the "Bamboo Black Pepper". Both are good, with a mild & refreshing scent.

When I ordered the "Beau Brummel" soap, aftershave gel and shaving cream I put a note that I would like some samples to give to my wife. They sent a sample of their lotion (it was cranberry something I think, not listed on their site yet) and of their "Lychee Red Tea" soap. We like the smell of both, and my wife said that she would like to try out some more of their product.

I know for a fact that I will be using their shaving creams often in my rotation. I am still building my stash , but it is growing every week.

I recieved my jar of cream yesterday along with some aftershave gel. gathered some cream from the top of the jar on my brush- swirled for 15 seconds in my shaving myg and the whole thing just stood there - added a little water and wow- fantastic glide,scent,cushion, and the thickest lather I have ever had - thats with a LOT of soaps and creams - thanks slippery vixen!!!
