    Default Mystic water shave soap

What am I doing wrong? I start out with great lather first pass. Then the lather is super thin for the next pass. Anyone a big fan of this soap. I figure I would try it since it's from Maryland and that's where I am from.

A couple of things. Are you using a scuttle? Is the bowl too hot? Are you not making enough lather to begin with or maybe it's starting to dry out or the opposite it's too watered down.

I use scuttle so maybe that is the problem? I will try with just the bowl with no hot water in the scuttle

Mystic Water is a terrific soap, but some people struggle with the lather, often depending on whether they have hard water or not. Fortunately, I must have the right water, as it's always been easy for me to lather, is a terrific performer, and Michelle has some of the best scents available. For those that do have difficulty, I often recommend trying it as a stick. You can order it as a stick, but you can also rub the puck on your whiskers, then face lather, adding very small amounts of water at a time to the brush.
