Thanked: 3225Cade Rich shaving cream initial impressions
Cade Rich shaving cream comes in a 200 ml jar and has the consistency similar to Noxzema cream. The scent is a pleasant herbal medicine one. A normal amount of product produces enough lather for a 3 pass shave. It lathers easily and produces a rich and thick lather but maybe not as slick feeling as TBS Maca Root cream. Still it makes for a good shave. These impressions are after about 6 uses.
If you have a L'Occitane en Provence and a The Body Shop outlet near you I would get samples of both to try out before making a buying decision. Both creams come in similar sized containers and both perform well but there is a significant price difference.

Thanked: 171That would be Cade Rich Shaving Cream in the jar; very nice.
There is also the (for lack of another word) "regular" Cade Shaving Cream in the aluminum tube, which is a slightly different product that - unlike the original formula in the tube, which was dreadful - performs in its current formulation quite well, but is not quite as rich and "creamy" as the one in the jar.
Both creams give a very nice shave now, but it may take a while for shavers to forget the abysmal performance of the original shaving cream and give Cade creams another try.Last edited by beluga; 09-29-2014 at 06:24 PM.
