Aftershave vs cold water when you have a good smelling cream?
I've been using aftershaves for years, but once I switched to some awesome creams, I now realize that I like to keep that smell on vs using an actual aftershave. In fact, I often just wipe off with a towel vs washing up at all on my face. Anyone else?

Thanked: 3226Sorry, not me as I found that the scent of the soap does not normally last much past the actual shave. It is a cold water face rinse, pat down with towel and then an aftershave for me.

Well lets see. For me I pull out all the stops. After my shower I dry and use a hot cloth on my face and relax. I then create a lather with some Sweet Patchouli that a friend gave me to try(love the stuff). I spend a lot of time creating the perfect lather because now I'm retired and have the time and lather is very important to a great shave. Now after the shave I rinse with warm water and then cold water. I use a little rubbing alcohol before I use the after shave conditioning cream. now after that comes the after shave lotion. The name of the lotion doesn't really mater because it's what she likes. now after all we do try make the ladies of our lives happy and if it seems I pamper myself a little well why not. Remember were not hen pecked we just have hen house ways
