Thread: Shaving GEL......

Now I only started yesterday and only have a high quality gel that I foamed with my very cool brush...

My question is could/should I continue to use my gel with my razor or should I really purchase (not until next week, sorry) a soap? I did manage a good shave especially for the first time with my gel, and I've got an order for a soap sitting ready to go once I'm paid.

get a decent soap. Will make all the difference. Arko is good and cheap, as is Proraso (or Bigelow -- same thing)

Have a look on TM, there is a guy in tauranga with proraso free shipping. The green and red are both good. He also has arko, cheap and good soap, although the scent is not to everyone's taste.

Never again will I use a gel. I used a soap this morning and man what a difference it made. My face has thanked me this morning

Which soap and how did you prepare the lather?

Proraso pre shave and soap as well. Now I would love to build up my collection of soaps so I can have a different smell every night.... I'm about to start working permanent nights for the next six months.

Good choice! I like their aftershave too.
