Hey Robin, is that third sample still going begging?

I'm sorry, but those were gone faster than you can say "sample". On the up side, they should become available in the US quite shortly. German and Italian forums like them a lot, and I am sure so will you guys.

In the meantime, I have sent all my other products (except Alvarez Gomez, Baume.be, Castle Forbes, Esbjerg, Green Mountain Soap, and Penhaligon's) into retirement. The Meißner Tremonia products really are that good.

Oh well, it is always worth asking. Thanks for the thorough review. I am planning on holding off on any new purchases until I run down the 100 tonnes of product I already have.
For the pendants among you 100 tonnes is hyperbole, but i do have a fair bit of soap and cream to work through.

Well, it won't be long, that much seems certain. And it will be well worth the wait, I can assure you of that. In the meantime, use up what you have.

And yes, stopping to buy new stuff is a useful idea. I recently found out that I had about 1.5kg in "oh, let's try this, because everyone says it's great stuff" products. And that is not mentioning the more pedestrian products I immediately threw away.

So, thank you for your kind words. As you may remember, I used to write a lot of such reviews. Unfortunately, they all went down the drain because the software update broke the reviews section (in general, not just here). I wonder if it would not make sense to use the Wiki (aka "library") for this purpose. Moderators and mentors should, between themselves, be able to write expert reviews. Because there are far more than enough consumer reviews around. The world needs more quality and less quantity. Preferably from people with a wide range of experience across all levels of quality. But that is, of course, neither here nor there. Just an idea.

Good news! I just received an email from them stating that their products will be available from SRD in early- to mid-April.

Like you and Robin, i have more soap that can be used in a lifetime.

    SO.

No new soap in 2015. Only had one relapse to date.

I got the same email this morning. Should fall inline with the tax refund. Unlike Robin and Dave, I narrowed my soap/cream supply down a few years back, so I have room to play.

Robins review was excellent, and I am going to give these products a try.

Before reading this, just this morning I decided to do a soap organization and separate the what I tried and went, "meh", to the stuff I actually like to use. I've decided that I don't need to be beholden to a tub of soap, compelled to use it just because I purchased it, and stay with just the soaps I truly enjoy, and if I want to change things up, I know I'll have a very large box of soaps to pick from.

In terms of not buying anything new to try, won't be doing that, as I said when I started wet shaving, spending money on this is much better than booze, hookers, and smuggling and it seems the wife agrees!?!

I've been using the stuff for months now.

I originally had some from an "off" batch which I'm now using as shower soap but the newer batch is fine.

It's a really different soap. You can't compare it to anything else out there. It's about the only soap I know of that contains ingredients actually good for your skin as opposed to making your skin feel good. The scents are unique but not for everyone. Some are really on the sophisticated side. If you like the scents it could really be your go to soap.

Guess I will have to try it. I should follow Phrank's example and do some culling of the inventory. There are a few I do not like.
