They are poles apart Cella works well but you can't compare the two, the quality of the lather and there's no comparison the scent is much nicer and a very natural Almond scent with the Boellis and you wouldn't expect a tub of £6 Cella to out perform a £33 tub of Boellis Panama 1924.

I would certainly hope there's an outperformance! Otherwise it wouldn't be worth the additional cost.
Only, the way Birnando answered gave me the feeling it's not much different.

So it's worth the money in your opinion?

LOL too expand on my earlier post that I forgot about...
I usually don't like Almond, don't really care for the DR Harris Almond, but the 1924 is an incredible luxury shave soap, the lather is like velvet on your skin, while there is the almond, there is also an almost circular array of different scents to this soap that, IMO, make it stand out as one of the top soaps I've ever tried - and for me, thats despite the almond which I don't like - yet it is such a huge performer I don't think you'll be disappointed in the least.Last edited by Phrank; 12-11-2014 at 08:43 PM.

It is top notch stuff. I think the soap is better than the cream.

Thanked: 3225I just want to thank you for that very healthy slice and the bonus unused tin of Osma that arrived in the mail today. The scent of the Boellis Panama 1924 is, as Jamie pointed out, a much nicer more natural scent than Cella. It looks like I can get along quite well with the scent. The scent of the Osma soap is a nice clean soap scent, very easy to get along with. Look forward to using these 2 soap in the next few days. Thanks again.

Gentlemen,
I had heard of Boellis Panama 1924, and finally ordered it.
What a waste of money.
The soap lathers well, and provides good glide. The scent has medium strength. Yet, I found the cushion mediocre. Not only that, but the soap torched my skin. Burned it. OY! My skin burned throughout the shave, and for several hours afterwards.
With all due respect to you gentleman who are a fan of this product — and this is only my opinion — I found the Boellis experience quite unpleasant. So I split the content and divided it among some friends, hoping some would like it. I'm sure some will.
By the way, nor do I hold much regard for Cella. Again, it's only my opinion, because I know many shavers like it.
Is Boellis better than Cella, or is Cella better than Boellis? Well . . .
