Default Saponificio Varesino ... Anyone use it?

I'm interested in user's thoughts on this soap .. Good? Bad? Or indifferent?

I'm thinking of making a one-time exception to my soap buying moratorium.

Old thread but no sense starting a new one. Finally got in some Saponificio Varesino soaps. I have tried 2 of the 3 so far, Dolomiti and Manna Di Sicilia. Both are easy to load and face lather with providing a rich slick lather. All 3 have some of the best scents I have encountered, then again that is a personal preference so ymmv there. I'll give the Aromatic Fern a go tomorrow morning but expect the same good performance with a different scent.

In the past I have been slightly underwhelmed by some of the more expensive soaps I have tried that are highly regarded. With these 3 SV soaps I have no such regrets so far. Really like them.

    Gentlemen,

I agree with my friend Bob. Saponificio Varesino soaps are remarkable. The Lather, glide and cushion are exceptional. The fragrances are intoxicating. Dolomiti, Aromatica, Manna and 70th Anniversary are regulars in the shave den. Good stuff.

My daughters gifted me Dolomiti and Aromatica for Father's Day. I have yet to use the Dolomiti; the Aromatica is a great soap in all regards. I have considered purchasing the 70th Anniversary just for the container.

the 70th Anniversary soap is totally awesome. The scent is great, and the performance is top notch. The matching aftershave is superb as well.

I bought the 70th anniversary and the pomegranate bath soap for the misses. I love both! The bath soap suds up like mad with great scent and cleaning power.
The shave soap. Well it's even better.

I ordered the 70th anniversary soap and aftershave from the factory. The service was excellent, I had the order delivered in 3 days. The smell is really nice and I can work up good lather.
