Thanked: 118When it is dry out I add a few drops to the shaving lather (3 to 6). Sometimes I just put 3 drops in my hand when rinsing my face after a shave and apply to the shaved parts lightly.
May your lather be moist and slick, the sweep of your razor sure, and your edge always keen!

No problem.
one other thing I used to find when starting out was that I used a lot more soap than I needed to. I think that used to contribute to drying out as well, although I'm not sure. I do use a lot less soap now and don't have the problem. Another thing to try could be different methods for lather building. When I started out no matter what I couldn't build in a bowl, for a long time I had to apply soap to face and then build. I know some people find a bowl easier, others face and others still build in the hand (maybe other more obscure methods I don't know about!!) Maybe experiment with this as well?
