Thread: Maggard samples frenzy! Unboxing

Hey all.
as always , thank you SRP for the wealth of info and kind people that make shaving truly a great experience.
well, for quite the longest time, scents has been a thing for me.. Well I do have a big nose ... And a must to smell everything.. Yes very odd person I am..so finding me in the detergents section sniffing each and every item.. Well normal..

anyhoos... Since the time I started wet shaving and discovered soaps,, I was in heaven.. And to top it off .. Samples.. Oh Lordy lord.. Samples.. That concept.. Just put me on cloud nine..

So.. After reading reviews at SRP.. And discovering Maggard .. Well here it goes my first package from them

1. Ordering process: great site, lovely interface extremely easy to order process..

2. Follow up on order: again, smooth process, follow up email with tracking info, oh and one thing !! I order right before New Year eve .. And despite that, a lovely email was sent by them just as a heads up regarding this intense period.( yet the order arrived in 2 days nevertheless !!!!)

3. Unboxing: Packaging: guess the pictures will explain a lot

b. Product packed nicely in ziplock to avoid leakage during shipping.. Nicely thought of.. And a nice card.. Samples are darn cute and awesome !!!!


c. Maggard soap samples: I honestly can't wait to try them out.. The scents are just awesome when opening the mini tubs


d. Barrister & Mann soap samples: heard so much about them on SRP, again interesting scents and texture ..


e. Dr. Harris after shave samples: wanted to also get the soap samples as I only have Arlington soap stick.. But they were out of stock for the time being.. So I order the Windsor also.. Just to see what awaits as soap.


f. Fine aftershaves: again much recommended at SRP, so why not ,also got after shave samples.. Which I have to admit am soooooo glad I did !!!



The soap samples were in tight sealed mini tubs with a generous amount, which i believe can render 5-8 shaves ... I think... Just lovely

as for the after shave samples, great idea !!, using mini sprays, so none is gone to waste...all packed nicely with extra sponge lining for protection...

Just a big thank you to the people at Maggard!,,truly made my day!

Maggards is great. Customer service there is super fast and friendly. and yes the sample selection can help you decide which scents are your 40 favorite. Orange menthol is great. London barbershop is great.

+1 on Maggards. Brad and Casie are great folks who deliver on the great customer service promise!

Maggard's definitely has awesome customer service. I love their sample aftershaves and soaps too.

I received one shaving cream sample and several aftershave samples from Maggard Razors last week. I am now regretting not ordering all six Fine aftershave samples.

The Lavanelle is one of my favorites, with Roam being up there as well.

And the Fine Vetiver, both Clean and Fresh, awesome! I've heard the Fine Platinum is the best of the Fine products...nice haul!

I have a sample of the Mango-Sage-Tea. Based on two shaves, it will last a long time.

Maggards is definitely a soap I will be buying.

I LOVE the Lime and Bergamot. It lathers easily and is my favorite soap scent out of the many I have.
