Thanked: 4ABC or MDC
I have been reading good things about MDC. I also have read the ABC edges MDC out by a nose for slick lather. Anyone have some insight comparison on these two soaps?
Thanks

Thanked: 49I believe he is referring to Antica Barbiera Colla. Yes I have heard some say it is "better" than MDC. Supposedly it is very slick. Notice I place better in quotes in the hopes that no one will focus their righteous indignation in my direction. I haven't tried either one.

Thanked: 375thanks! now I have to go check out Antica Barbieria Colla. -
Cured...checked it out, I can scratch that off the list, my daughters allergic to Almond. I was sweating there for a second, thought I was going to have to buy another shave soap...Last edited by Trimmy72; 01-20-2015 at 03:04 AM.

I own both. ABC is wonderful but I'm not sure it's slicker than MdC. The presentation of ABC rivals MdC as well. But be warned ABC is a traditional Italian "croap" and has a strong Almond smell, which some find off putting. BTW if you want to try ABC you want the "cream" in the plastic tub and NOT the "puck" which is paper wrapped. The puck cannot match the performance of the "cream".

ABC soap is nowhere near as good as MdC - they're not even in the same sport, IMO. Can't speak about the ABC cream, though, as I've yet to try it.

Thanked: 4I have acted on your proclamation. I went on Old Town and ordered MDC. I have been thinking about for a couple of weeks so thank you for nudge.
Now I can compare MWF, ABC, MDC, and CF. I have officially become a lather junkie. Hope the misses doesn't find out.
