Gentlemen thanks for the great insight. I in fact got a decent lather out of Williams today and therefore a decent shave. I am not going to bash it again or throw it out. I left it soaking in a mug with my brush, loaded it and went straight to face lather. First time I have face lathered and it came out pretty awesome, thick and cushiony.I leave it at the girlfriends house so I can shave there and save my nice soaps and creams for home. I currently ordered a tub of Omega soap to be my everyday soap replacing the Williams because I've read and watched some reviews on that. Thanks again guys.

You can try shaving outside where more things are available to induce a lather, but cover your ears and use an old shaving bowl.
There is a reason why most of the better online shaving stores don't sell it. You don't get a second chance at a first impression.
