Thread: Clay in shave creams?

I've experiemented with making shaving soaps, and I'll echo what slur said. There are no downsides to using it (myths about it dulling razors are just that), but I can't say I can detect a difference.

That said, Ive never done a blind A/B test with the same soap with and without. So I can't really say.

You could buy a small quantity of bentonite, and try adding it do your lather : and let us know what you think

Bentonite is easily found in health & beauty stores.

Experimentation is part of the fun of wet-shaving : and you would be adding to the knowledge base here at SRP
