Thread: A good place to get sample sizes of different creams and soaps

I shaved with my sample of Martin de Candre - Fougere scent. Although I was not a great fan of the scent, I can live with it. The closeness of the shave was amazing, and I was really amazed with how easily it washed off of the blade. Simple ingredients, absolutely great results.

The Grapefruit Scent from Taylor of Old Bond Street was awesome. I loved the lather and the scent was just great!

When I first ordered from MdC it came with a sample of Fougere scent bath bar. I was not crazy about it but kept the bar in the bath. I really liked the jar of original but that Fougere scent grew on me so much I had to order a jar of the shave soap. Now, it's top three favorite scents.

I really like it. For me it works best with a boar brush.
I'm now considering the EdT.

I just received my sample of sartorial (cologne). I have to say I REALLY LIKE IT!
It has a clean smell with a touch of muskieness. SWMBO seems to like it also.
Will wear it tomorrow and see if I get any comments.

I think it is.. YMMV, but it has become my favorite scent. I bought one of their 10 mini vial samplers last year and found Sartorial and Blenheim to be just perfect blends with my skin type. I like spicy, non patchouli scents typically.
I actually picked up the full size bottle after deciding I liked the reaction and feedback on the Sartorial more. And doing the math, it's still only a few bucks a month to smell like I want to smell.
