Thread: Retail Options for Shave soaps/creams

I've been a wet shaver now for a little over a year and acquired a nice little rotation of products. Most were acquired on line. As for retail options, I've used Nordstrom's and Art Of Shaving. Both have a small selections and most are north of $20.

So my question is this: I will be in Chicago for a few days later this month. I was thinking about checking out Smallflower. Their site has dozens of products and I was wondering if anyone has had experience at either of their store locations in Chicago. Rather than roll the dice again on an online purchase, I'd rather check out some items via traditional retail and do the touch and smell test.

Smallflower is their online name. The actual store is an old drugstore (Mertz) though owned by new folks. if you go there you better have a wad of cash with you because they stock one heck of a variety of shave paraphernalia.
