Default Same Soap Company, Two Very Different Results

An interesting thing came out of my recent binge on soap samples. A week ago I threw some Shannon's Soaps Pumpkin Spice in a bowl and lathered up. Well, I tried to lather up. No amount of
working, coaxing, water adjustment or soap adjustment could create a lather with this soap. And I mean zero lather, even though I really took my time. So, the soap goes in the trash.

Now, had I bought a jar of Pumpkin Spice instead of a bunch of samples, my relationship with Shannon's Soaps would have permanently ended there. But, last night I had a shave with their Amaretto soap. I did nothing beyond my normal routine and the soap lathered up great and I had a fantastic shave. So, somehow their Amaretto was wonderful and their Pumpkin Spice was a joke. I guess scent ingredients can make a real difference in performance.

Yep! Know what you mean, different scents give different results from same supplier. A few years back I tried some Ray's Of Colorado, one scent worked great but the other scent was OK but took a little more work. I can't remember which scent did what and I'm not knocking Ray's soaps as I think they (what I tried) were very good soaps, just one performed better than the other.

Scent ingredients can make differences but not very high. The Inci of both soap are similar or different? Probably first soap had more glycerin (that not help lather...vary difficult lather a soap with glycerin in top position)

You just never know my Husky turned her nose up at the grapefruit scented Tremonia but if I had turned my back on the Scottish Scent she would have grabbed it and consumed it at her leisure.
