Default Water tolerance of Col Conk Almond

I have been using Col Conk Almond for a few weeks now exclusively. I didn't bring much with me to my temporary apartment and the vast majority of my shaving collection went into storage.

So I had been getting some really thin lather by only shaking the brush out, loading and then face lathering. With my other soaps this technique works excellent. Not so much with this one.

Last night I squeezed the brush out until it was very dry. Loaded it and slowly built my lather. Was rewarded with a nice thick non drying lather. Not to mention this stuff smells pretty great and is cheap.

I guess I'll have to re evaluate some of my other soaps using this technique.

I remember playing around with the stuff years ago. I thought it was a definite step up from Williams and VDH but it still didn't win any awards with me. I thought for not much more MWF was far better.
