Thanked: 55YMMV irritants.
I have sensitive skin. Have figured out another irritant. (Lavender). Both Speick and arko sensitive creams have made a true mess of my face. Arko long ago and Speick today. Not seen so much blood, redness and irritation in nine months. Still burning an hour later. Know I'm odd, chamomile and lavender both are used in many "sensitive skin" products. And my skin can't handle either. Definitely worth figuring out your specific irritants rather than relying on a "sensitive " label.

Thanked: 2591Do you know if fragrance oils were used in those. Usually that is what can cause problems, the natural essential oils are much more tolerable. There is also possibility of reaction to other ingredients such as certain vegan oils used in the soap formula. I have seen accounts about reactions to Coconut Oil, some have reaction to Lanolin etc.

Thanked: 72I've heard of people having reactions to nut oils, like the almond oil used in Boellis Panama 1924 and many other Italian soaps.

Thanked: 55Not sure. Threw away the box, the tube does not mention. Tallow does not agree with me either, that I already know. Am a very allergic person. Wanted to try haslinger, bit it also is a tallow soap, at least the one I got.

Thanked: 60I have never had a reaction to any soap or cream. The one time I thought I may have I realized I had over shaved a little. Don't use artisan products so have no experience with them

Lavender is a known skin irritant for some.

Yep. Almond is my kryptonite.
Sometimes, I will buy a product that causes issues that doesnt have almond, but I cant figure out what the issue is. A recent Caties Bubbles gift is one of those... I have no issues with anything on the ingredients list, but there is the " fragrance oils" that I have no idea what they are.Recovered Razor Addict
