The Castle F. (Lime) version is one of my permanent creams, great performer and for me a really nice post-shave feeling on the skin afterward. Really fond of the scent too, especially if I'm in the mood for a straight up Lime scent.
Regards,
Scott

Thanked: 72I'm glad you mentioned Czech & Speak because I was thinking of buying this expensive soap (in the fancy metal bowl) but you don't hear too much about it. Sold! Do you have a preference of scent? There are 2, maybe 3?

My Czech and Speake arrived yesterday, just got the refill pucks, have plenty of bowls (some left over from the Tier #2 and the unmentionable Tier #3 category) - the 88 and the O&C, and they smell fantastic, just trying to decide on what straight razor to use, the Henckels #14 or the Dorko #14, and the 88 or the Eton...can't wait.
New soaps complete me....Last edited by Phrank; 12-31-2015 at 03:27 AM.

I have the C&S fancy bowl. To call it a "shave bowl" is like calling a Ferrari just another car. It's machined Aluminum with Engine Turning and anodized and weighs at least a pound.
We have so much trouble deciding on tier one soaps now Obie comes along and makes trouble with second tier too.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Well - it certainly lathers well, as to the scent on the C&S 88, I can't tell, the badger stink just won't seem to leave my M&F brush; hence, it is soaking in some vinegar and water now...never really appreciated how horrible that smells, just overcomes and destroys all in it's path....

Gentlemen,
As I think about more products I have used, I'll include them in the grouping. The initial post included products I could remember at the time I wrote the post. At this age, I have a circus of senior moments.
